Where Is Sipadan Island Borneo Sabah

Sipadan Island is famous five degrees north of Ecuador in the Sea of ​​Sulawesi (Celebes Sea). Set of 43 square km of beautiful rainforest, the sanctuary helps once captive orangutans learn to fend for themselves in the wild. Watch how these orphaned orangutans learn to climb, then go to a platform where you can see from the forest for their daily meals of milk and bananas.

7. Danum Valley Rain Forest third

Danum Valley is located deep in the rainforest of Borneo where nature is at its most pristine. As you travel deeper and deeper into the jungle, you suddenly come upon a magical paradise of the Borneo Rainforest Lodge (BRL), erected overlooking the magnificent River Segama and flanked by tall hill ranges. BRL is an impressive resort, designed by naturalists and built on piles of wood using traditional materials and have the comfort of a 3 star hotel. Pulau Tiga Kuala Penyu Is One Of Popular Destination In Borneo

A town located in the Interior Division of Sabah, it is home to the Kadazan or Dusun Tatana community as the largest single ethnic group. Kuala Penyu is located on the Klias Peninsula, which was originally covered with mangrove swamp forests. Administratively, this district is divided into three parts—Sitompok, Bundu and Menumbok. It is one of the gateways to Pulau Tiga Marine, Kuala Penyu Sabah is the famous for its beaches, especially the Tempurung Beach, Sawangan Beach and Sungai Labuan Waterfront. In fact, the sago plant is such a popular product in the district that there is an annual celebration for it called the Pesta Rumbia.

The Pulau Tiga Marine National Park has soared to world fame as 'Survivor Island' in Borneo because of the popular Million Dollar Prize Money TV series 'Survivor' by the CBS TV network, USA. The Pulau Tiga Park covers an area of 15,864 hq and was gazette as a National Park in 1978. As far back as 1933, the main island, together with the two smaller islands of Kalampunian Besar and Kalampunian Damit were designated as Forest Reserve in Borneo.

Facilities


The Park Headquarters is situated in an open grassy clearing just behind the beach on the southern side of Pulau Tiga and consists of office, staff quarters and a resthouse for visiting scientists. A network of trails, marked at 50 meter intervals, leads to various points of interest. The island was initially developed jointly by the Sabah Parks Trustees and the Sabah branch of the University Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) as a marine research centre, but now there is also a new resort called "Pulau Tiga Resort," run by a private enterprise with chalets, diving and watersports facilities. For day trips, Pulau Tiga has excellent facilities for BBQ and sun bathing with complete shelter and toilet facilities. You will need to pre-arrange your food and beverages with Pulau Tiga Resort as they only service in-house guest.

Other Islands


There are two more islands in the Pulau Tiga Park, approximately 20 minutes by boat to the north of the main island, Pulau Tiga. They are very different. Kalmpunian Besar is a small sand cay built up from unconsolidated coral fragments, and the shape of the island shifts and changes with the prevailing monsoon winds and currents. Kalampunian Damit (also known as "Snake Island") is celebrated as a breeding ground for the amphibious sea snake Laticauda colubrina, which comes to the shores to lay eggs. The snakes can usually be seen coiled in a tangled mass under boulders or among tree roots.

The resort is an ideal retreat that offers opportunities to experience nature, become immersed in the beauty and serenity of the island. You may also experience the various water sport activities provided by the resort which includes snorkeling, scuba diving, jet-skiing, kayaking, banana boat ride, fishing and many more. How To Go There


Located 48 km south of Kota Kinabalu and the Tunku Abdul Rahman Park, Pulau Tiga Park is reached by driving the 140 km to Kuala Penyu, a small settlement on the tip of the Klias Peninsula. From here it is another 18 km, or about 30 minutes, by boat. Another way of getting there is by chartering a speed boat from Kota Kinabalu and cruise to Pulau Tiga, or fly to Labuan Island and charter a speed boat from Labuan.

The Only One Borneo


In this blog, I just want to tell about Borneo the located at Southeast Asia. Borneo can be divided into three sections. Each section falls into the jurisdiction of different countries with the northern section belonging to East Malaysia, the north-western section belonging to Brunei and the remaining section belonging to Indonesia. Borneo is a unique place that somebody can visit in this world.
Ya, Borneo. Borneo due to the location to the equator and ocean edge. It is made up of dense rainforest with a climate that can be fussy and temperamental.  So, we should make sure all of us have plenty of gear for whatever excursion set out on, whether it's a wildlife safari or hike through the vegetation. The best times to visit Borneo are between March and October . It is good because  the temperatures are not too hot and the rainy season has passed.
Ya, Borneo is one of the biggest islands in the world that offers tourists a chance to experience its  tropical rainforests and varied flora and fauna. Borneo is also one of the largest mega-biodiversity ecosystems in the world and making it a prime spot for eco-tourism.
This will give eco-tourists chances to concentrate on observing the thousands of plants and animals that can be found in Borneo. Ya, all of the unique thousands of plants and fauna can be found in Borneo. Only Borneo. Ya the only Borneo.
